Introducing the map of USA:

The third largest country in the world, the United States of America is located in North America between Mexico (Figura 1), to its south, and Canada, to its north.
Political Map of USA
The political map (Figure 2) of the USA displays the administrative country’s divisions and their boundaries. It’s shows 50 states that together makes the United States of America (USA). Figure 1, at the top, show the flag of USA.

The flag (Figure 3) of USA (also known as the “Stars and Strips”), is a symbol the notion’s unity, strength, and values. It consists of thirteen horizontal stripes alternating in red and white. Representing the original Thirteen Colonies that declare independence from British Rule. The stripes symbolize the courage and the sacrifice of the early Americans settlers.

The capital of the United States of America is Washington, D.C. It is not located within any state but is a separate federal district. The capital Washington. We have to remember that, the Washington, D.C. is the capital of the United States of America. Meanwhile, the state of Washington is located on the west coast of the USA, and its capital is Olympia. In Washington is located the United States Capitol (campidoglio – Figure 4) and the White House (Figure 5). The White House is the official residence and workplace of the President of the United States. It is in Washington, D.C. and serves as the symbol of the American presidency and the executive branch of the U.S. government. The building also hosts various official events, ceremonies, and meetings related to the presidency and the government.

Geographical aspects of USA
Mountains
The US has three main mountain ranges (Figure 6), each with its own landscapes and ecosystems. 1. The Rocky Mountains stretch from northern Canada to New Mexico. They are famous for rugged peaks, plateaus, and valleys. Mount Elbert in Colorado and Grand Teton in Wyoming are notable peaks, while places like Yellowstone National Park offer natural beauty.
2. The Sierra Nevada in California and Nevada has granite peaks like Mount Whitney, the highest in the contiguous US. Yosemite National Park is known for waterfalls and ancient trees.
3. The Appalachian Mountains run along the East Coast from Alabama to Maine. They are not as tall but have rolling hills, forests, and cultural significance. The Appalachian Trail is over of 2,000 miles long.

Rivers
The US have numerous rivers (Figure 7). The most important rivers are:
- Columbia River: Originating in British Columbia, Canada, the Columbia River flows through the states of Washington and Oregon before emptying into the Pacific Ocean. It is known for its hydroelectric dams, which provide renewable energy, and supports important salmon fisheries.
- Missouri River: Is the longest river in North America, originating in the Rocky Mountains of Montana and flowing eastward to meet the Mississippi River near St. Louis, Missouri. It serves as a major waterway for transportation, irrigation, and hydroelectric power generation.
- Mississippi River: One of the longest rivers in the world, the Mississippi River flows from Minnesota in the north to the Gulf of Mexico in the south, traversing through or along the borders of several states, including Wisconsin, Iowa, Illinois, Missouri, Kentucky, Tennessee, Arkansas, Mississippi, and Louisiana.
- Colorado River: Originating in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado, the Colorado River flows southwest through several states, including Utah, Arizona, Nevada, and California. It is famous for carving out the majestic Grand Canyon and is vital for supplying water to millions of people and irrigating vast agricultural areas.
- Rio Grande: Forming part of the border between the United States and Mexico, the Rio Grande flows from Colorado through New Mexico and Texas before emptying into the Gulf of Mexico. It is a vital source of water for agriculture, industry, and urban areas in the southwestern United States
- The Hudson River: Is a significant waterway in the eastern United States, flowing primarily through New York State. This iconic river has played a crucial role in American history, serving as a key transportation route during the colonial period and remaining vital for commerce, recreation, and tourism today.

Lakes
The United States has numerous lakes, but some of the most prominent ones are:
- Lake Superior: Located on the border between the United States and Canada, Lake Superior is the largest of the Great Lakes by surface area and volume. It is known for its stunning natural beauty and diverse wildlife.
- Lake Michigan: Another one of the Great Lakes, Lake Michigan is the only one entirely within the United States. It is the second-largest of the Great Lakes and offers a variety of recreational opportunities, including boating, fishing, and beach activities.
- Lake Huron: Situated between the Canadian province of Ontario and the state of Michigan, Lake Huron is the third-largest of the Great Lakes. It is known for its picturesque coastline and numerous islands.
- Lake Erie: Bordering the states of Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, and Michigan, Lake Erie is the fourth-largest of the Great Lakes. It is a popular destination for boating, fishing, and birdwatching.

Major cities
The United States has several major cities that. The following list introduce some of the main cities of USA:
1. New York City, New York: Known as the financial capital of the world and a cultural hub. 2. Los Angeles, California: Renowned for the entertainment industry and cultural diversity. 3. Chicago, Illinois: A major financial center and hub for industry and transportation. 4. Houston, Texas: Known for its energy industry, particularly oil and gas. 5. Washington, D.C.: The capital city of the United States, home to the federal government and iconic landmarks like the White House and Capitol Hill.
6. San Francisco, California: A center for technology and innovation, as well as a cultural and financial hub.
7. Atlanta, Georgia: A major transportation hub and home to a diverse economy, including media, technology, and finance.
